Indian women compound team bag bronze: World Archery Champion ship
By Den Bosch, Jun 15, TIO: India Women’s Compound Archery team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Muskan Kirar, and Raj Kaur won against Turkey to bag bronze in the ongoing World Archery Championship here on Saturday.
The Indian team defeated Turkey by 229-226 to secure the bronze medal. Earlier, in the quarter-final, the women’s team edged out Holland by 219-213, but in the semi-final were beaten by US 226-227.
Chinese Taipei beat the US to earn the World title championship while the US had to settle for silver. (UNI)
