Book ‘Post-Truth India – The Brand New Republic’ Released

By Saba Rizvi, The India observer, TIO, NJ: A new book, Post-Truth India – A Brand New Republic, was released by Mohammad Adeeb, a former president of Rashtrawadi Samaj Party and a member of Rajya Sabha from the Bahujan Samaj Party at a function in the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.

Authored by Dr. Syed Ali Mujtaba, a well known author and journalist, the book precipitates the real picture of contemporary world where it’s almost impossible to differentiate between what is said and what actually it is.

The book was launched in the presence of eminent personalities .The former Planning Commission member Dr. Sayyeda Hamid, senior journalist Vinod Sharma, veteran journalist social activist John Dayal were the special dignitaries gracing the occasion.

The author was applauded by Mohd Adeeb who praised him for writing the book at the time when people fear to speak the truth. He described the book as a testimony of the freedom of writing without fear.

Dr. Mujtaba said that at one point of time, he had lost all his hope that his book will be published as he had to face several rejection until a publisher was ready to do it.

The book brings out the real picture of contemporary India where lies and hatred has overpowered everywhere.It not only reveals the challenges ,issues and the problems but also provides the methods to resolve it.

Addressing the gathering, Vinod Sharma, while congratulating the author on bringing many aspects of the contemporary life out of the closet, expressed his reservation over the title of phrase “Brand New Republic”. According to him, in the post-truth era that we are living republic is an illusion.

On her turn, Syeda Hameed called the book candid. She said she found the book very direct and clear. “What fascinated the most about the book is that it talks about communal harmony and re establishment of real India.”

The book deals with multiple interrelated subjects and provides examples in the span of several years and dives into the psyche and modus operandi of the government.

Dr. Mujtaba also shows concern for the values and the ideals of our country which is now under threat. But in the final analysis the book hangs together and the message is clear which advocates for communal harmony and peace.

This book has a taste of facts and a flavour of truth and definitely an eye opener for those who blindly trust absurd media narratives.
